STARDIG Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be legally permitted to use the service under local law. Minors must obtain consent from a parent or guardian where required.

2. License

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the game for personal, non-commercial purposes. Ownership of the app or its content is not transferred to you.

3. Accounts and Data

Guest progress without a linked Apple or Google account remains only on the current device and may be unrecoverable if the app is deleted or the device is lost or reset. Linking is optional. After linking, you can use a Cloudflare-backed STARDIG account and cloud save, and on iOS a RevenueCat user link may be retained for cross-device purchase restoration. You are responsible for securing access to your device and your Apple or Google account. If the app shows a save conflict, you must check which record to keep: the cloud record or the device record. An account and its progress cannot be recovered after deletion.

3-2. Required Game-Data Download

On first launch, the app displays a download notice showing how much data it will download. After you confirm, STARDIG downloads cryptographically signed, non-executable required game data from Cloudflare CDN/R2. More data may be downloaded later when you use new content. The download may use mobile data and device storage, so Wi-Fi is recommended. Once successfully cached, the data is not downloaded on every launch and is downloaded again only when files are missing or updated.

4. Distribution, Price, and In-App Purchase

STARDIG 1.0 is distributed only in South Korea as a free app on the App Store and Google Play. The iOS app may sell a one-time Remove Ads product that permanently stops interstitial ads; the price is shown on the App Store product screen and payment is processed by the Apple App Store. Buying requires linking an Apple account. The Android app sells no paid products. In-game currency is earned only through play, such as winning battles, and cannot be bought. There are no paid passes, paid Core products, or paid randomized rewards. If new paid products are added, we will update these Terms and notify you.

4-2. Purchase Restoration and Refunds

Payments and refunds for the iOS app are handled by the Apple App Store, and refunds use Apple’s refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you change devices or reinstall the app, you can use Restore Purchases on the Shop screen with the same Apple account. Mandatory withdrawal and refund rights under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce and other applicable law are not limited by these Terms. If Apple approves a refund, the corresponding benefit may be revoked.

5. Advertising

STARDIG is a free, ad-supported game. Rewarded ads play only when you explicitly choose to watch one for a reward on the result screen after a failed attempt. On iOS, non-rewarded interstitial ads may appear automatically before or after result screens such as a stage clear; they never appear during combat or loading, and their spacing and daily number are limited. Buying Remove Ads stops interstitial ads. The app does not show banner ads. Ad and reward availability may depend on network connectivity, inventory, consent state, and the conditions displayed in the app.

6. Prohibited Conduct

• Using cheats, automation tools, modified clients, or other abnormal methods
• Manipulating the service, ads, rewards, or security features
• Reverse engineering, copying, or redistributing the service beyond what the law permits
• Accessing another person’s account or interfering with systems or service operation
• Violating applicable law or another party’s rights

7. Intellectual Property

The game, code, characters, images, music, text, logos, and other content are owned by the Operator or other rightful owners. They may not be used commercially without permission.

8. Changes and Availability

We may change features and content or temporarily suspend the service for updates, security, technical issues, or operational needs. We may discontinue the service or a feature subject to your mandatory legal rights.

9. Suspension and Termination

Access may be restricted for a Terms violation, abuse, security risk, or legal requirement. You may start account deletion from the in-app Account & Cloud screen. Deletion removes the Cloudflare STARDIG account, cloud save and sessions, the Apple or Google provider link and its credentials, the RevenueCat compatibility user link on iOS, and local game data.

10. Liability

The service is provided as is to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation on every device. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory rights under applicable consumer-protection law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Mandatory consumer-protection laws in your place of residence remain applicable. Jurisdiction is determined under applicable civil-procedure law.
